Robert Law | Government Relations Director

Robert joined FAIR in 2013. As Director, he manages the Government Relations team and establishes FAIR’s legislative agenda. He builds and maintains relationships with Capitol Hill staff and assists in drafting true immigration reform legislation. He advises other FAIR departments on legislative and executive branch developments to coordinate messaging to advance FAIR’s goals. Robert brings to FAIR his legal background and government relations experience.

RJ Hauman | Government Relations Manager

RJ Hauman joined FAIR in 2015, bringing valuable legislative, regulatory, and political experience to the Government Relations department. He is responsible for reviewing and analyzing legislation and regulations, as well as building and maintaining relationships with Capitol Hill staff. During his time on Capitol Hill, RJ gained immigration policy experience as an aide to former Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-CA), who chaired the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration Policy and Enforcement. RJ holds a B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University.

Shari Rendell | Senior Government Relations Manager

Shari Rendall brings to FAIR over 15 years of experience in government relations and grassroots advocacy. In her former position Shari led the legislation department in coordinating lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill and briefing congressional and administration staff on a wide range of issues. She has also been responsible for grassroots communications and helping state associations devise their legislative strategies. She began her time in D.C. working on Capitol Hill in the office of former Sen. Bob Smith (R-New Hampshire) as a Legislative Aide.
